There were numerous styles produced – the most desirable being these full leather bindings with beautiful attention to detail. (Lesser books were made of imitation leather and spine only “quarter bound” in leather.) Each book is bound in a signature color, and exhibits 22 karat gold foil stamping of the titles and jacket designs. They are printed on archival quality acid-neutral paper and include silk moire endpapers, an expensive hubbed spine, bound-in silk ribbons bookmarks, gilded page edges, Smyth-sewn pages for strength and durability and often contain beautiful illustrations. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Fine Print~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~: At Rarified Books, we take pride in offering items of extraordinary quality, value and condition.
