Close to Like New condition: Clean, solid, lightly used. Includes slipcase. Her versions are lively and accessible, balancing poetic grandeur with the grounded wisdom of folk narrative. She collected and translated Irish myths in “Kiltartanese,” a vernacular English style influenced by Gaelic rhythms, with the goal of preserving traditional oral tales and making them accessible to a wider audience.

Virginia Woolf’s infamous work “A Room of One’s Own” pressed by Folio Society. Overall in good condition with the unfortunate exception of a seemingly coffee-natured stain on the front cover (pictured) that is also subtly present at the tip of the cover as shown in the last picture which is thankfully difficult to see. Otherwise, no writing and the pages are in great condition! This would be a genuinely interesting addition to anyone’s Folio library.
